FAQs

Hey everyone! We get a lot of the same questions regarding our shop so we thought we'd open up a "Frequently Asked Questions" portion of the site to help with some of those.

What are your refund policies?

There are very few situations in which we will not refund you. I mean VERY few. The only time we haven't refunded someone was because they opened a booster box, didn't get a CHONK-A-CHU and wanted a refund. Nope, that has nothing to do with us. By purchasing a booster box, or blind boosters of any type, you need to understand we can't guarantee you special cards, that's not how they work.

Acceptable Return Reasons:

  • You changed your mind and you don't need it anymore, and it's not yet opened (we might ask you to ship it back yourself, but in most cases we're happy to refund you everything including shipping.)
  • We shipped you an item and it was damaged on the way whether it's our fault or not (we'll open a ticket with the carrier to get the money back, but we won't hold you up for that).
  • Something is wrong with the item caused by the manufacturer (all the cards have a giant blue dot on them or something).
  • You ordered the wrong item
  • We shipped you the wrong item (I try not to do it, but it has happened in the past, I'm working essentially 2 jobs and I have a toddler.)

Tentative Acceptable Return Reasons:

  • Your package was stolen from your porch
  • Your package was never delivered

Why are these tentative? Well honestly, because there are people out there who are deliberately saying that an item wasn't delivered so they can get their money back and keep the item for free.  Someone did this to me via an amazon order. I sent an item, they said it wasn't received (and maybe at the time it wasn't), I refunded the money, a week later it was received, and the buyer wouldn't respond anymore.

There are legitimate reasons where this is an acceptable return (I've had UPS literally take the package to the wrong city, and then tell me it was undeliverable despite them having taken it to the entirely wrong city). If this has happened to you, please reach out to us and we'll deal with them on a case by case basis.

Unacceptable Return Reasons:

  • You bought a booster pack and didn't get the card you wanted out of it.
  • Similar as to the other-- you opened the package, opened the item (meaning it's no longer sealed) and then changed your mind.

We say this because we know folks who have bought booster boxes, weighed the packs, taken out the heavy ones, then tried to return them "technically unopened" to the seller with packs from another box, not cool.

Is there a pre-order cancellation or re-stocking fee?

We do not currently charge a pre-order cancellation or restocking fee. In 99% of cases, we always have someone willing to buy from us, so we're not gonna do that to you.

That being said, as we grow, this policy could change. We don't like getting charged those types of fees, so we'll will do our best not to implement them, but in 10 years time? Who knows.

What are your shipping policies when I have preorder and non-preorder items on my order?

Do you combine shipping?

We are absolutely happy to combine shipping for you to save you money. There are some caveats though.

In general, we will combine shipping if all items you'd like to combine -- you are okay with shipping out on the same date. For example, if you have two preorders, one for 05/02 and one for 05/16 and you want to combine shipping to save money (whether that means free shipping because you hit $149.99 or just lowering your shipping cost) No problem! That just means I'll need to ship both items to you on 05/16, or whatever date they actually arrive (distributor shipping delays happen).

How many distributors do you have?

We have 3 at the moment, but we are in talks with a fourth.

Do you plan to sell DBZ TCG?

At this time we do not have a distributor that sells DBZ. There are only a few in the US that do, and we do not yet have a contract with them. Once we do though, if they allow online only sellers to sell them, we plan on making them part of our inventory.

Do you plan to sell Digimon?

Same as DBZ above. At this time we do not have a distributor that sells Digmon. There are only a few in the US that do, and we do not yet have a contract with them. Once we do though, if they allow online only sellers to sell them, we plan on making them part of our inventory.

Do you sell Magic The Gathering Cards, or Sport Cards?

At this time, Magic the Gathering is limited only to Brick and Mortar stores, and we are an "online only" shop. This means that we can't get access to certain products like Magic The Gathering, Sports cards, Final Fantasy TCG, and many others.

Do you have a Brick and Mortar Store?

At this time, we do not. We would LOVE one. The difficulty is there's no way to support ourselves on this business alone at this time (we charge msrp or lower for most items so profit margins are pretty low). The hard part about this too is that we can't get more distributors or certain products because we are online only...so it's a bit of a battle of attrition. The hope is that one day we will be able to and we can do this full time :).
